So interesting. I have never seen anyone trying to get up….I guess I just assumed everyone jumped off of a building or a cliff. As always, your v-blog makes me smile, and allows me to live vicariously through the people you profile. Plus, it is always so beautiful to watch. Yay! (cadydidwhat)
Kiting is a sport on the water where you can surf on with a wakeboard and a kite. This is paragliding with a paragliding-wing and the meaning of it is to go up and fly as long a possible. When your’e playing on the ground it is called “groundhandeling”. This playing with the wing is a must, because you must learn to have full controle of the wing, in case to recover it if your’e in the sky and it smack’s with it’s wingtips together or if it stalls etc. (and this happens quit a lot in the mountains here in Europe) Grtzzzz from this skyjunkie.
Hey thanks for coming to the Sheridan Filmmaker’s Festival last week. It was really great of you to drive across the state to share your art with us. I’ve been looking around this site and it is awesome.
Send me an email and I’ll give you the names of some falconers in the Sheridan area. One guy here has learned arabic so he can go over to Dubai and sell falcons to sheiks. Every morning he puts on an arab headdress to go feed his falcons in the barn so they imprint on arab dress….
