A few years ago, The Snaz started posting the “Skids” series from KGB Productions, and now KGB has a five picture deal with Paramount Studios and their next feature, Lord of the Chainrings, is slated to star Johnny Depp, Oprah Winfrey, and the Budweiser Clydesdales.

The series has legs (as they say in the biz), and now Cloudveil has co-opted it to create the coolest video contest to hit the mountain world this century.

The idea: create a “Cribs” style video of your blecchy little dirtbag domicile, slap up on Youtube or Vimeo, then send the embed code to tmc@cloudveil.com. The winner receives a complete Cloudveil outfit (though it’s uncertain whether that includes one of Cloudveil’s new Schoeller thongs), a pair of Dynastar Legend Pro skis, Look bindings, and a one-year-subscription to Powder Magazine. That’s a lot of swag for flipping on a videocamera and aiming it at your skanky deadbeat roommate.

The deadline is March 1, 2009.
