Announcing the 2010 Jackson Hole Womens Hockey Calendar, beautifully photographed by Heather Erson.
You can get copies of the $20 calendar at Tobacco Row, Teton Barber, and Jack Dennis (in town), JH Traders, Main Event, South Side Pub, DOG West (Wilson), Teton Village Sports, and Yostmark & Habitat in Driggs. Or you can pick one up and get it signed by the hockey team at their Calendar Party, December 4th at 6 p.m. at the Teton County Fair Building. The party, featuring live music and a silent auction of prints, is being thrown by Lyndsay McCandless as part of her “First Friday” celebrations. Lyndsay volunteered her gallery as the studio for Heather’s shoots, and also appears in the calendar herself. For everyone involved, I’d say it’s quite a successful collaboration.

I think on top of getting one for myself, I have to get a few and send them to the coasts for my sexually frustrated married friends toiling away in sanitized building blocks with windows hermetically sealed shut to keep them from jumping out and escaping the seemingly inescapable rat race where people toil without realizing that affluence has begun to drive them towards hardship, for its very own sake.
