Karl Steslicke, who works on the JHMR Park and Pipe crew, has been producing a series of vids this season. The resort should be all over these things. Seems like families choose their ski destination according to where their kids want to go, and kids want to go where there’s a cool park and pipe. These vids certainly make the case for the JHMR jib scene. This may be where ski resort PR will go in the future — each segment of a resort (ski school, patrol, park and pipe, backcountry guides) will not only be responsible for their normal jobs, but also for the creation of videos that promote themselves to an increasingly finicky ski clientele. (Time to fire up Final Cut in Corbet’s Cabin!) Karl’s just taken the lead on that, and the resulting videos are pretty damn fun to watch. Check out his Vimeo channel for more clips.
